It’s easy to fall down a never-ending rabbit hole of information, but the key is to start slowly and gently tune into your body. Here are some simple first steps to ease into cyclical living. 🌿
Start Tracking Your Cycle
If you don’t already track your cycle, this is the best place to begin! Apps like @livelycycle and @naturalcycles are great digital options, but a physical tracker can be even more useful—especially if you keep it somewhere visible for daily check-ins.
Pay Attention to Your Body’s Biomarkers
Your body gives you signs throughout your cycle—start noticing them! 👀
💧 Cervical mucus changes in texture and consistency. (more creamy before or after ovulation)
🌸 Cervical position shifts, becoming higher and softer during ovulation.
🔄 Hormonal symptoms like mood swings, energy levels, and breast tenderness offer clues.
🌡 Basal Body Temperature (BBT) rises post-ovulation—track it using an Apple Watch (Series 8+), Oura Ring, or a classic thermometer before getting out of bed.
Keep an eye out for deeper dives into each of these!
